Preserving aviation history

Amy Schoeman is one of the first Asian South African Airways (SAA) crew members working during Apartheid. Following retirement in 1993, she volunteers at the South African Airways Museum Society, a non-profit organisation run by former SAA employees and aircraft enthusiasts committed to collecting and preserving the history of the civil aviation in South Africa for future generations.
