Creating HIV awareness

Yi-Tin Michelle Yuan is a fourth-year medical student in the University of Cape Town's (UCT) Faculty of Health Sciences.

Thank you for educating mothers and nurses about the importance of HIV testing at the Vanguard Community Health Care - Maternity and Obstetric Unit (MOU) and Labour Ward. She also helped design a stamp that will be placed in the 'Road to Health Booklet' (a booklet mothers are given once the baby is born and is used at every check-up visit) to keep a record of these tests.

Spot her on 5 of the 'People's Post - Claremont / Rondebosch' (Tuesday, 30th July 2019)' newspaper. Read the full digital article here.
