"To be part of the African spirit of Ubuntu by assisting humanity. And to be involved in helping children suffering from abuse, and to keep climbing more mountains – because every woman in the world has to climb her personal mountains every day!"

"It was difficult for us. I didn’t know where I belong because I was not black nor was I white. I felt isolated because my English wasn’t very good. I had to learn to adapt and make friends and try to fit into a world they had created for me”

She also shared her motivation with listeners of Brett Hermon's midday show on Radio AM1485 (DStv channel 869) on Wednesday 19th June 2019.

We can climb the mountain for them. So they don’t have to climb so much mountains in the future.

"They approach me when they need help but I truly believe that it's all humanity. It doesn't matter they are young girls or they are elderly, but the people that need help, they cannot help themselves. And I would like just to be there for them and to make a difference to those in our community and whenever we can. I think which is important to us."
