Proud of Selene Chiang, one of five South African models booked to walk the runway for international designers at New York Fashion Week in the ‘Where technology meets fashion’ and the ‘Robotic couture’ shows during September 2019. She also wowed audiences at ÜberGlam fashion show in 2018.

Congratulations for representing South Africa at the ARTS International Convention in Florida (United States of America) during July 2019 and being awarded Winner and 3rd place of the 'General theme runway' and 'Creative runway' categories respectively.

She attended workshops with international agents, managers, producers, casting directors and record labels, and performed in 11 categories of acting, dancing, modeling and singing, where she received 12 call backs with an international representation opportunity in Asia to work as an artist and model.

Beaulieu College recognised her excellent and exceptional commitment to all aspects of Dramatic Arts and awarded her the Trace Trophy (2018), Full colours (2018) and Top Achiever (2017 and 2018) for her playwright and performances in one-act plays. She was also awarded Gold in the National Eisteddfod scene of 'Romeo and Juliet' during 2017.

Selene Chiang enjoys ballet, character, contemporary, hip hop, house, pop and is learning other dance disciplines. The quadruple treat formed part of the choir ensemble during the 2019 International ARTS Talent Showcase and has also achieved Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) passes in Grade 7 piano and Grade 6 singing.

Well done to Selene Chiang for winning the 'Senior National Sabre Gold Medal and Trophy' and 'Gold in the Sabre Team Event' at the Arnold Classic Championships held on Saturday 19th May 2018 at the Sandton Convention Centre.

The Beaulieu College Grade 11 learner was chosen for the African Youth Games in Algeria, however, after being chosen for the Commonwealth Games in the United Kingdom, she opted to rather attend the latter and earned her National Colours.

The combatant enjoys archery (recurve and compound bow), martial arts (karate) and has firearm training (handgun, pistol, revolver and rifle). She also loves horse riding, parkour, ice-skating and swimming.
