Trek4Mandela 2018 centenary climber

Our community is very proud of Angela Yeung, the Founder and Managing Director of Impilo Collection, for climbing within 150m of Mount Kilimanjaro’s summit on ‘Mandela Day’ (Wednesday 18th July 2018) to raise funds for the ‘Caring4Girls’ menstrual hygiene programme.

Thank you to Angela, her fellow centenary climbers and everyone who pledged R 30 or assisted them, for helping to keep underprivileged girls in school.

Erwin Pon [Chairperson of 'The Chinese Association Gauteng' (TCA)] recognised Angela as one of four women, honoured by our community during the 'TCA 115th & TCA Women's Federation 12th Anniversary' celebrations on Sunday 5th August 2018 at the Italian Club in Bedfordview, Ekurhuleni. They are alongside Ming-Cheau Lin (Copywriter, food writer and author), Kayan Leung (Human rights lawyer and activist) and Taryn Lock (Literacy activist and Founder of 'Proudly Chinese SA').
