EWB-SA Co-Founder

The visiting senior lecturer of chemical engineering at Wits University co-founded ‘Engineers Without Borders’ (EWB-SA) in 2013, having started the EWB-Wits chapter earlier, and serves as a director of the former. This non-profit company aims at improving society and the environment through engineering programmes and STEM education.

"We have a strong interest in leadership development and personal growth, which is reflected in our motto of “empowering engineers to empower communities”. And because of this diversity, even amongst other EWB organisations, we have a unique approach to social development and the use of technology in society"
