NSC Matric (2018) – Top 20 In Western Cape

Congratulations to Kelly Zeng, a former Grade 12 learner at Fairmont High School in Durbanville, for obtaining 7 subject distinctions, including 99% for Information Technology and 96% for English at an overall average of 95.9%, during her 2018 NSC final matric examinations. Despite Monties producing 18 matriculants with 7 distinctions each, the badminton team captain was the top academic achiever in the district and the highest ranked of three candidates to place within the Western Cape’s Top 20.

She was awarded ‘Overall Excellent Achievement’ by the Provincial Educational Minister at an Awards Ceremony held at Leeuwenhof Estate / Premiere Helen Zille’s official residence. Good luck studying Medicine at Stellenbosch University!
